I have been able to test the XTOOL D7 on a couple vehicles and so far, I am very pleased with the results. It has already helped me troubleshoot and resolve an airbag (SRS) issue for my 2007 Mazda CX-7. One that I was previously unable to resolve. The multiple codes that were returned lead me to the exact solution on the internet. This was something my basic Bluetooth OBDII scanner was unable help provide resolution to.

I did buy the XTOOL D7, and I love this thing. It's solidly well built, great price, and as someone who doesn't like to have to read a manual just to use a product, the way that the software is designed on the XTOOL is intuitive to where I could just take it out of the box and go straight to the things that I wanted to do.

I did the update for vw to 14.1 and it all works now it automatically recognise my vw caddy vw caddy 2016 now good recommended

This tool is very easy to use! It does everything you need it to do if you need to diagnose a problem with your car. I programmed a brand new key fob for my vehicle and it only took 5 minutes!

I’ve only had my D7 for 2 days but I’m very happy with this tool. The tablet is performing great and completing the setup and updates went smoothly. I’ve plugged into a 2003 Ford F-150, 2008 Honda Civic, and 2015 Toyota RAV4. I owned a VW GTI 12 years ago and had the VAG-COM software on a laptop to go along with that car, and I’ve been missing having that kind of capability and controls with my cars ever since then… well it looks like I’m back in the diagnostics game with this awesome little D7.

I was wondering can you guys send this scan tool xtool d7 to Norway? How is the key programming, will it work with every car ? Like Bmw , VW , Nissan ? Please tell me everything about the key programming futures if it possible. I have watch some video on YouTube about that but they only program 1/2type of car over there. And do I need extra device besides xtool d7 for key programming?

The XTOOL D7 fits the bill. It connected to my 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid effortlessly. Documentation supplied with the unit is very good. All the included accessories are of high quality including the nice form fitting case. The D7 features functionality that is found on scan tools costing thousands more. With the available updates, I know that I will be able to use this for future vehicles, too.

I have spent years trying to find a scan with real time data. This tool not only does that but has bidirectional commands that can be sent. Tool was recommended to me by a friend, I have told most of my friends that work on cars about. I am very impressed with the XTOOL D7.
